Alejandra
3D Animation & Interactive Media Engineer. Storyteller. Visual Artist.
Alejandra Baptista Aguilar is an interactive media engineer dedicated to creating visual and experiential stories for multiple industries. Having graduated with her Bachelor's of Science in Integrated Design & Media from New York University's Tandon School of Engineering, Alejandra combines her technical skills in various 3D and AR/XR/VR platforms with her artistic capabilities to create eye-catching, narrative-driven work in multiple forms of media.

Alejandra has been contracted to animate for projects by Amazon Prime, Studio Elsewhere, Uzcateguiveliz Studio, and Wild Seed Studio, among others. Her work can be seen in hospitals, television commercials, shopping malls, corporate websites, PhD research papers, and even a published board game.
​
On multiple occasions, Alejandra has worked in research environments. She was geometry-artist-in-residence at University of Toronto's Dynamic Graphics Project Research lab in 2022, during which she developed a VR aquarium workspace and worked alongside published computer graphics researchers on furthering 3D animation techniques. She worked as a 3D animator for Studio Elsewhere during 2023 and 2024, an NYC-based studio that develops immersive media experiences for use in healthcare. Alejandra's role was to create animated 3D environments used by Mount Sinai for a pilot research experiment. She is also the primary visual artist for an interactive augmented reality experience being developed in Dominica by Wild Seed Studio, a project meant to educate about indigenous communities in Dominica.
